On 7th January 2025, a delegation of Karyakarthas from Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari met with the Hon'ble Governor of Kerala, Shri. Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar Ji. The delegation was led by Mananeeya Nivedita Didi, All-India Vice President of VRM and VK, along with Adarneeya Radha Devi Didi, Dakshin Prant Sangathak; Adarneeya Priyamvada Didi, Karyalaya Pramukh, VK Kerala Vibhag; and Shri. Prasanna Kulkarni Ji, a Karyakarta of VK Pune, who is responsible for developing tourism at the Kendra.
The meeting took place on the auspicious day marking the 53rd Anniversary of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari. During the interaction, the Hon'ble Governor was invited to inaugurate the 8th International Conference on Yoga Philosophy - Yoga Sastra Sangamam in Kanyakumari, which is scheduled to take place from 28th February to 2nd March 2025.
Mananeeya Nivedita Didi took the opportunity to brief the Governor about the upcoming Yoga Sastra Sangamam, while Radha Devi Didi handed over a formal invitation letter, signed by Mananeeya Sri Hanumantha Rao Ji. The Governor graciously accepted the invitation.
