Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Mysore Branch, organized three Swami Vivekananda Jayanti & National Youth Day programs in Mysore on January 12, 2024. A total of 152 people actively participated in these three events.
On the auspicious occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, a book release programme took place at the Kendra Karyalaya in Mysore. The event featured the release of two Kannada books, ‘Prabhavashali Vykatitwa’ and ‘Yoga Ekatmatma Drustikonada Jeevana Paddati,’ published by Vivekananda Kendra Kannada Prakashan Vibhag. Sri. Laxman Ji released the books. Dr. A.S. Chandrashekar Ji, Nagar Sanchalak, presided over the event and delivered a talk on Swami Vivekananda. The program was attended by a total of 34 people.
On the same day, Vivekananda Jayanti was celebrated at Somavarpete, Kodagu district, with the participation of 104 people, including 92 students, 12 parents, and teachers.
Additionally, another program was organized at Anandalaya in Bellary, drawing the participation of 14 people.
