Universal Brotherhood Day Celebrated at Amritsir

Universal Brotherhood Day was organised at Shazada Nand College on 13th September. A youth leadership development workshop and a lecture was organised which witnessed the participation of 60 students from the college . Our five Karyakartas were there as the organising team. Workshop was started with aumkar chanting followed by introduction games, team building games, group discussion, presentation etc. Dr Harmeet Singh ji (Prof at Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar) delivered a lecture on the topic Swami Vivekananda's idea of Brotherhood. Later students were informed and encouraged to start a weekly study circle in collaboration with the Vivekananda Study centre of the college.
