Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag RT Nagar Branch conducts Samskar Vargas every Sunday at three different venues: Samhita School of Performing Arts in Hebbal, MS Convent School, and Ram Temple in Dinnur. The purpose of these Samskar Vargas is to inculcate patriotism and cultural values among the children. On January 7th, 2024, a total of 99 children attended these sessions across the three venues.
MS Convent School:
On January 7th, 2024, a special program celebrated the completion of 50 weeks of Samskar Varga. The event, attended by 33 children along with their Shikshaks, commenced with a prayer. The students presented a skit on Swami Vivekananda, followed by dance and yoga performances. The event concluded with the Shanti Mantra, after which Prasad was distributed to everyone.
Rama Temple:
During the second week of Samskar Varga on January 7th, 2024, a total of 40 children along with 4 Shikshaks, 7 Karyakarthas, and 2 parents took part. The schedule of the varga included prayer, Subashitha, Shlokas, Yoga, Geeth, story, games, Avolkan, Shanthi Mantra, and Kendra Prarthana. After the session, Prasada was distributed to all attendees.
Samhita School of Performing Arts:
On January 7th, 2024, 26 children participated in the Samskar Varga at the Samhita School of Performing Arts. The schedule included Prayer, Subashitha, Shlokas, Yoga, Geeth, storytelling, games, Avolkan, Shanthi Mantra, and Kendra Prarthana. As with the other places, Prasada was distributed at the conclusion of the varga.
