Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamil Nadu Vibhag, Chennai Brach, is conducting Samskar Varga every Sunday at Kendra Karyalaya in Triplicane.
The purpose of the Samskar Varga is to inculcate cultural values among the children and to instill love for the country. With this aim, the regular schedule of these vargas consists of prayer, bhajans, aagnyas, Suryanamaskar, value games, patriotic songs and inspiring stories of patriots.
On the 13th of August 2023, 35 children participated in the Samskar Varga. The children took part in a Water Race as part of the Samskara Varga activities. They enjoyed the competitive spirit among the teams as they filled water into bottles. This experience made them realize the power of teamwork and motivated each other to find efficient and swift ways of carrying water.
