Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation (VKVVF), Kodungallur (Keralam Prant), organized a series of Ramayana Masam celebrations and Ramayana Paarayanam during the Malayalam month of Karkidakam in August 2026. The programmes were conducted at three places in Sringapuram, Kodungallur, with a total participation of 56 people.
The first Ramayana Paarayanam was conducted on 6 August 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the residence of Smt. Ambika Teacher, Agrashala, Sringapuram, with 8 participants. The programme included family chanting and Puja, led by Bindu Chechi, Karyakarta.
The second programme was held on 11 August 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the residence of Smt. Savithri Amma, Agrashala, Sringapuram, with 8 participants. Ramayana Paarayanam was conducted as part of the observance of the sacred Ramayana Masam.
The third programme was organized on 12 August 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at Thalappilly Temple, Sringapuram, with 40 participants. The programme included Ramayana Paarayanam, family chanting and Puja led by Bindu Chechi. A brief talk on Amrit Parivar was also conducted for the gathering.
The programmes provided an opportunity for families and community members to come together in a devotional atmosphere and observe Ramayana Masam through Paarayanam, prayer and collective participation.
