Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamil Nadu Vibhag, Madurai Branch, celebrated Raksha Bandhan at the Samskarvarga on 18th August 2024. The celebration took place at TVS Higher Secondary School with active participation from 29 students, comprising 14 brothers and 15 sisters.
During the Samskarvarga, the children were introduced to the art of crafting their own rakhis, which is an essential aspect of the festival. They enthusiastically engaged in the creative process and later celebrated Raksha Bandhan by exchanging and sharing the beautiful rakhis they had made. The varga was organized by four Karyakartas from the Madurai Branch.
