On the occasion of National Youth Day, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Maharashtra Prant, Paschim Maharashtra Vibhag, Pune Branch organized a National Youth Day program on 13th January 2025. The event was held at Haribhai V. Desai College, Pune, with the participation of 80 students. The two-hour program aimed to help the youth understand Swami Vivekananda’s vision of an ideal youth and realize their own potential.
Kendra Karyakartha Shri Sharad Ji delivered an insightful talk on “Swamiji’s Visionary Youth.” This was followed by an experience-sharing session where camp participants of recently held Youth Leadership Camp, recounted their learnings and reflections. Participants who had successfully completed the Youth Leadership Camp were felicitated and encouraged. Additionally, a faculty member from the college delivered an inspiring speech on Rajmata Jijau, highlighting her exemplary leadership and contributions.
The event was conducted smoothly and effectively, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Kendra Karyakarthas Shri Santosh Khajindar Ji and Ms. Amruta Tai Deshmukh, who are actively engaged in activities at the college. The occasion was further graced by the presence of Kendra Karyakartha Shri Gajanan Ji.
