Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, organized a Matru Puja at Tenchery Trika Sreekrishna Temple in Annamanada, Thrissur on 9th April 2024, starting at 5.30 p.m. A total of 43 mothers and children participated in the Matru Puja.
Vivekananda Kendra Kerala Vibhag has conducted Samparka in the past two years in and around Chalakudy, led by Sri. Raghunathan Ji, Sri. Vishnu Ji, and Ms. Sowmya Cheechi. Following up on the Sampark conducted on 16th March 2024, it was decided to conduct a Matru Puja on 9th April with the families associated with Kendra. As planned, the Matru Puja was organized at Tenchery Trika Sreekrishna Temple.
The parents and children, and the temple authorities shared their positive experiences as inspiring and encouraging. They suggested making it an annual event for their area. They also expressed their willingness to support Vivekananda Kendra activities in the region and showed interest in implementing and practicing Amrita Parivar in their families. It was a positive and enriching experience for everyone involved.
