Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur celebrated Gita Jayanti on 11th December 2024 at the VK-VVF Karyalaya with two programmes and a total participation of 48 people.
At 7:00 AM, a celebration was held for the Yoga Varga participants, attended by 20 people. Mananeeya Dr. Lakshmi Kumari Didi, Director of VK-VVF, addressed the participants on the importance of managing and controlling the Pañcendriya (the five horses) to lead a life aligned with Dharma, using the Bhagavad Gita as a guiding instrument.
From 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, another session was conducted for Karyakarthas, Yoga teachers, and Sandeepani Shishuvihar kids, with 28 participants, including 13 children. The session featured Sampoorna Gita Chanting, covering all 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita. After each chapter, Mananeeya Dr. Lakshmi Kumari Didi provided insightful summaries and interpretations, enriching the understanding of the participants.
