Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Odisha Prant, Jyoti Vibhag, Rourkela Branch, celebrated Gita Jayanti on 15th December 2024 at the Rourkela Railway Colony. The event witnessed the participation of 68 people, including students, parents, and Karyakarthas.
The program began at 4:30 p.m. with Sankh Nad, followed by three Omkars and the Shanti Pat, setting a spiritual ambiance. Soulful bhajans were sung, elevating the devotional tone of the celebration. Participants chanted Bhagavad Gita Shlokas, and a brief introduction to Gita Jayanti was provided, along with explanations of key topics.
The program concluded with the Shanti Mantra, after which Prasada and copies of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita were distributed to all participants.
