Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamilnadu Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development Programme, Valliyur Branch in association with Sri Valli corporation organized Free Eye Check-up Camp at Annamalai Selva Mahal, Valliyur on 13th of August, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The eye check-ups were conducted by a dedicated medical team from Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli. The event facilitated comprehensive eye examinations for 159 participants, resulting in 24 patients being referred for cataract surgery in Tirunelveli, while medicines were supplied to 10 participants.
