Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Mysore Nagar, Ajjampur Karyasthan in association with Shravani Computers arranged a Free Computer Class at Ajjampur. The classes will span one month, with 30 students enrolled.
The class was inaugurated on the auspicious occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s Mahasamadhi Day, July 4th, 2024. The event saw the participation of 30 students and 5 karyakarthas. The class was arranged by Sri Srikant Ji, Saha Sayojak. Sri Anoop ji, Sanyojak, provided an introduction about Vivekananda Kendra and highlighted the significance of the day. Smt. Bhargavi Didi inaugurated the class by lighting the Deepa. Kum. Supriya, the computer instructor, attended the program.
During the event, students were taught the Guru Stotra and participated in an indoor game. At the conclusion of the program, Swami Vivekananda badges and sweets were distributed to all students as prasada.
Additionally, some students from Hiriyoor, Bagavalli, Batanakatta, Ajampura, and Cheeranahalli villages expressed interest in starting an Anandalaya at their localities.
