Vivekananda Kendra, project- Arun Jyoti, Arunachal Pradesh organized Prashikshan Sibir for Balsevika, Anandalaya Acharya and Swasthya Rakshaks(Health Workers) at VKV, Laipuli, Tinsukia recently. A total 138 brothers and sisters from Longding, Tirap, Changlang, Namsai, Papumpare and East Kameng districts of Arunachal Pradesh participated in this camp, which was inaugurated on 6th April 2017 by Smt. Koing Umbon Singpho, Mahila Manch Pramukh, Tirap Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti. Out of them 27 were in organizing team.
The participants were taught various subjects by the resource persons in different sessions. The subjects of the common sessions were the Culture and Tradition of Arunachal Pradesh by Koing Umbon Singpho, Swami Vivekananda by Sanjay Karkare, Mananeeya Eknathji by L.Sarita Didi, Vivekananda Kendra and Arun Jyoti by Chaphung Wangsupa and Sangathan & Karyakarta by Dr.Debashis Dey Adhikary.
In subject specific sessions the need of Balwadis, fivefold development of children, child psychology, thse concept of Seva etc. were discussed by the Balprabandhikas. In Anadalaya sessions, resource persons enlightened the participants with subject wise teachings and activities. Role of health workers, the concept of healthy life and cleanliness, symptoms of common diseases and their treatments were taught by the resource persons in Swasthya Rakshak training.
The valedictory program was organized on 11th April 2017 and Sri Ramgopalji Aggarwal, well-wisher of Vivekananda Kendra and Sri Gurucharan Das, Principal, VKV, Laipuli was present there. They appreciated the effort and encouraged the participants to work hard for this social cause.
