Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, West Bengal Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Lamba Line, Sri Vijaya Puram, celebrated the 76th Republic Day with patriotic fervor on 26th January 2025 at the school premises. More than 250 people including the students and staff attended the event.
The event began with Shri K. Rajesh, an ex-Navy officer, unfurling the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ and the Flag Song. Students saluted the flag, took the pledge, and delivered speeches in both Hindi and English, emphasizing the significance of the Republic Day.
A series of patriotic songs performed by students across various grades resonated with the spirit of nationalism and unity.
In his address, the chief guest highlighted the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and encouraged the students to honor their legacy by serving the nation with diligence and unity.
The celebration evoked a profound sense of patriotism and unity among all participants, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
