Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari Paschim Bang Prant, Siliguri Karya sthan organized a Personality Development Workshop as the 3rd phase of SWADHYAY COMPETITION at Ghughumali High School, Siliguri.There were 49 participant and 13 karyakarta in organizing team.
The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Ranjan Roy(H.O.D of Geography dept. North Bengal University) in the presence of Shri Anup Saha(Headmaster) & Anup Kr. Roy(Asst. Headmaster) Ghughumali High School (H.S).
Ku.Nabanita Kundu told about Vivekananda Kendra & its activities. Yoga & various games were conducted to increase concentration, awareness and creativity in students. Then a group discussion was held on the topic of SEVA, SWACHHATA, PARYAVARAN, & SAHASIKATA.
At the concluding session the students performed a short drama on the topics given at the time of discussion. Then Shri Manoj Das, (Prant Sangathak, Pashchim Bang Prant) explained the elements of Personality Development by explaining the various life incidents of Swami Vivekananda. The camp was concluded with a short meditation followed by the Shanti mantra.
