A mammoth procession was convened to commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of Mananeeya Ekanathji Ranade (Founder of Vivekananda Kendra & Rock Memorial) at Vallioor on 19th November 2015. The procession started at the waving of flag by Mr. Balaji, D.S.P., Vallioor. Shri. S.K. Subramanian, Correspondent, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya was in the forefront. Shri Ayyappanji, Secretary of RDP, Vivekananda Kendra & Mrs. Janaki Pushpam, District Incharge, RDP, Vivekanada Kendra were the special guests.The procession started from Vallioor Murugan Temple and ended at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya.The children’s band music was superb.Swami Vivekananda’s inspiring thoughts and slogans were highlighted and echoed at the procession in which nearly 1200 students, parents and public participated eagerly.
