Vivekananda kendra, Kanyakumari, Gaya had organised a public program on the occasion of "Vishva Bandhutva Divas-Universal Brotherhood Day" in Dharma Sabha Bhawan,Ramna Road,Gaya.
The program was started with the Vedic chanting of three Omkar and Shanti Paath. The patriotic song was performed by the Youths of Saraswati Sangh,a youth spritual organisation of Bihar.
The chief guest Dr. Radhananda Singh,librarian of Kendriya Vidyalaya, put his thoughts on the Chicago journey of Swami Vivekananda and the situation of World Parliament of Religion. A street play,"Aadmi Banunga" was performed by Yuva Karyakarta under the guidance of Sri Jayanendra Malviya,teacher of Kendriya Vidyalaya.
Om this occasion Dr. Shudama Singh delivered his talk on the subject - Globalisation and Universal Brotherhood.In his lecture he told that the message of our Indian philosphy in terms of Universal Brotherhood is Vasudeva Kutumbakam and the thought of globalisation is the whole world is a market, where consumerism is promoted.The yuva karyakarta had put thier thoughts on the effect of globalisation in the differnt fields of society like in economics, education etc. More than 200 people were present in the program.
