In recently held Eknathji Memorial Inter-VKVs Football Tournament 2011, VKV Sher defeated VKV Seijosa in the thrilling final match with score of 5-1. Kr. Toko Miji of VKV Sher was adjudged as Highest Scorer, while Kr. Pane Kuna at the same school emerged as Best Player. Fair play award was given to VKV Roing, and Kr. Rosangso Riti of the same school was awarded as Best Goal Keeper.
Inter VKVs Boys Volleyball tournament 2011 was also held at the same venue, VKV Jairampur. VKV Yazali won this year’s tournament, with VKV Roing as runner-up team. Kr. Tao Akin of VKV Yazali was adjudged as the Best player. VKV Oyan team was given ‘Fair Play’ award.
The most significant observation of this event was the most disciple and sportsman spirit shown by all the participating teams, which was appreciated by Kendra elders, teachers, guests and well-wishers.
