Even with the best intentions, it is easy to hibernate in winter! The coldest season is on us!! The days are short and the nights are longer. The famous quote of Herbert says “Every mile is two in winter”.

Half yearly principals’ meet:
Half yearly Principals’ meet, which is the regular feature in VKVs, was conducted from 17th to 18th November at VKV- Nirjuli. The meeting was for churning and assimilation of stimulating thoughts and ideas. The cluster in charges presented the comprehensive report on progress of the schools. We had the presence of Mananeeya Sri D.Bhanudasji, General Secretary and Dr.Tejum Paduji, Trustee for the meeting. The follow up session on developing Multi-Tasking Ability by Mananeeya Sri D.Bhanudasji to undertake diverse tasks was one of the noted features of the meeting. Let us put our sincere effort to reflect on these to equip ourselves to shoulder various responsibilities effectively. Mananeeya Sri Pravinji, Secretary stressed the need of forming schools supporting group in all the schools. It is also worth mentioning about the session on Organizational Structure by Sri Rupersh Mathur, Pranta Sangathak. The minutes of the meeting is being sent and it is expected all of you to go through for the apt action.
Varshik Baithak of VK Arunachal Prant::
The Karyakartas shouldering various responsibilities in project and Branch centres assembled at VKV- Nirjuli on 20th November for Varshik Baithak. It was an enthralling experience to get inputs from our elders and could feel the oneness and strength of the organization. Sri Dipok Kr.Barthakruji paid rich tributes to Mananeeya Eknathji by sharing the first-hand account about the life of the Great soul on the Sadhana Divas. The anecdotes shared were really captivating. The reporting about the last one year’s activities, the planning for the future, the ideological inputs by Mananeeya Bhanudasji were the highlights of the meeting. We could see the bouncing enthusiasm of the Karya Kartas to undertake bigger activities in the days to come. Dayitva Grahan Samaroh was another important aspect of this meeting. We revisited our goals and renewed our commitment for the noble cause. We have greater tasks ahead! Our immediate attention would be to prepare for the ground work to celebrate the 150 years of Swami Vivekananda’s Jayanti in a grand way and to take his message to the nook and corner of the state.
Principled acts!
The Principals of Siang Cluster schools have already started the ground work for the 150 years of Swami Vivekananda Jyanati by planning out various programmes. They have decided to start a special campaign for enrolling the parents, well-wishers and their team members in patron scheme. Nearly 100 were made as the Patrons. More than that; they all have decided to enrol themselves as Perpetual Patrons by contributing 5000/- each. Such a dedicated Karyakartas are the source of inspiration to all and I can visualize the great days ahead where the works of the organisation gets expanded in leaps and bounds.VKVs Shergaon, Ziro, Old Ziro and Joram are on winter vacation from 1st Dec onwards. We wish them a purposeful vacation and may they enrich themselves and come back to action with more vigour and sprit! Few of the teachers of these schools are deputed to other schools as per the need.
