Universal Brotherhood Day programme was organized on 12th September 2010 by Vivekananda Kendra's Nagpur Branch. Shri. G. G. Joshi, Maharashtra Pranta Pramukh of Vivekananda Kendra and the author of the book “Dasa Mhane” presided over the function. The same book was released on this occasion. Shri Prakashji Pathak - General Secretary of the Central Hindu Military Education Society, Nasik spoke on ‘Vishwavijayacha Aatmavishwas’. He talked on the relevance of thoughts of Swami Vivekananda in today’s world and explained the concept of Vishwabandhutwa and its need as the solution to overcome the whirl of materialism.
Samskar Varga children presented a patriotic song. A tuition class is conducted round the year at Kendra to help the children from 8th to 10th classes in different subjects.The tuition class as well as Sanskar Varga children who have passed the X and XII examinations received prizes from Shri. Pathak. About 200 people attended the programme which ended with Shanti Mantra and Vande Mataram.
