On the occasion of Shri Eknathji Ranade’s birth centenary celebrations, Vivekananda Kendra,Kanyakumari is producing a bio-pic on his inspired life in the name of “Eknathji: One life – One Mission”. The film, set in the backdrop of Shri Eknathji’s life from the 1920s to 1980, is directed by Sudarshan Aravamudhan and Manoj Krishnan, visualised by Cinematographer, Padmesh Marthandan. The music is being rendered by A.S. Ram. Shri Ajay Rohilla has enacted the enacted the role of Eknathji.
A 2 minute trailer was launched at the centenary celebrations held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi today. The film is expected to be released in January 2015.
