IT enrichment workshop held at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Port Blair near Veer Savarkar International Airport, specially for VKV Port Blair, Vivekananda Kendra Zila Parishad Vidyalaya and Vivekananda Kendra Nagar Palika Vidyalaya. Workshop covers the over all lab maintenance including hardware troubleshoot, software installation, operating system installation. Participant also learn to upload text and image on blog type website.
The year 2013 is the 150th birth anniversary year of the great patriot-monk and nation-builder of our country – Swami Vivekananda. In order to celebrate this occasion in a befitting manner in these Isles as the part of its national programme, by spreading the message and the principles of the great Swamiji to every individual of these islands, a Samiti has been formed in the name Swami Vivekananda Sardha Shati Samaroha Samiti (SVSSSS).
Two Great Andamanese boys were felicitated for being the first students of the tribal community to be successful in the tenth class CBSE board examination from Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya of Andaman & Nicobar Island on 5th June 2012.
