Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag took the initiative to organize a Yoga Teachers Conference under the title ‘Yoga Sangamam’ for the instructors of the Patanjali Yoga Training and Reach Centre, Ernakulam. This center embodies the visionary ideas of Mananeeya Sri. P. Parameswaran Ji, Former All-India President of VRM & VK.
The program was held at the Vivekanandapuram Campus in Kanyakumari on October 21 & 22, 2023. A total of 100 people attended, including 90 adults and 10 children. Mananeeya Sri. A. Balakrishnan Ji, the All India President of VRM & VK, inaugurated the Yoga Sangamam and explained the essence of Yoga and the yogic way of life.
Aadharneeya Radha Devi Didi, the Dakshin Prant Sangathak, provided a brief introduction to the story of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the service activities of Vivekananda Kendra. She conveyed the importance of Kendra activities in Kerala and encouraged participants to join hands in spreading Kendra activities in the state. This call received a positive response from the participants, who also had the opportunity to visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial.
As a follow-up to this program, there will be Samparka activities in Ernakulam and Pathanamthitta districts through the participants of this Sangamam, followed by a Kendra Parichaya Shibir for selected families.
