A Bhoomi Puja was performed on 19th March 2024 for the construction of the ‘Vivekananda Kendra Skill Development & Training Centre’ by Vivekananda Kendra Arunjyoti at Tezu, Lohit District in Arunachal Pradesh. Mananeeya Sri Hanumamtharao Ji, All India Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra, was present for the Bhoomi Puja. Speaking on the occasion, he mentioned that Vivekananda Kendra has been tirelessly working to protect the glorious values of Sanatana Dharma. He also emphasized Bharat's diverse culture and stressed the importance of its preservation.
Several dignitaries attended the Bhoomi Pujan, including Er. Bafrenso Pul, Chairman of CALSOM; Sri Amoso Khamblai, Secretary of MCAEFPS; Sri Bachamso Chiba, Secretary AVP Lohit Unit; Sri Abrelum Gamre, President of IFSCAP District Unit; Sri Soste Bellai, Former Vice Chairman of CALSOM and Executive member of RSS; Sri Nokchang Songthing, Tirap Vibhag Pramukh; Shri Kruleso Ngadong, Lohit Vibhag Pramukh; Shri Yashik Partin Ji, Siang Vibhag Sampark Pramukh; Su Priyanka Didi, Sah Prant Sangathak; Sri Ashok Atale, Manipur Vibhag Sangathak; Principals and Teachers of VKV Tafrogam, Tezu, and Sunpura; Members of VKV Alumni and Well Wishers; and Nagar Pramukhs from Wakro and Tezu.
The centre is expected to host various activities such as Skill Workshops, Balwadi Teachers’ Training, Computer Training, and Local Weaving and Craft Training.
The Bhoomi Pujan was a divine occasion sanctified by pujaris from nearby temples and Tanchaw Klumya.
