Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Bhagyanagar Vibhag, Nagole Branch, organized a 10-day Yoga Satra from 27 August to 5 September 2026. A total of 8 participants registered, of whom 6 participated in the Satra, supported by 2 Karyakartas.
The Yoga Satra was conducted systematically as per the schedule and protocol prescribed in the Vivekananda Kendra Yoga Satra Manual. Shri Ravi Naidu Ji, Telugu Prant Sangathak, VRMVK conducted the sessions for eight days, while Shri Mukesh Ji conducted the sessions for two days. The Satra introduced the participants to Yoga as a holistic way of life, with emphasis on regular practice, discipline, physical well-being and mental balance.
Sharing his experience, Shri Chandrasekhar Varma ji from Co-operative Bank Colony, Nagole, appreciated the systematic conduct of the Satra and the personal attention given to the participants. He shared that the programme helped him understand Yoga not merely as physical exercise, but as a means towards physical health, mental peace, concentration, discipline and positive thinking. He also expressed his desire to continue learning and practising Yoga.
Smt. C. Padmaja Didi from Survey of India, Uppal, shared that the 10-day training was systematically organized and provided useful information and motivation, giving her a good foundation to continue the practice of Yoga.
Encouraged by the response and experiences of the participants, a Sankalpa was taken to conduct the next Yoga Satra during November/December 2026, providing further opportunities for regular learning and practice.
