As a part of Gita Jayanti celebrations, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Telugu Prant, Rayalaseema Vibhag, Kurnool Branch, organized a ‘Amrit Parivar Milan’ at Lakshmi Jagannatha Gattu in Kurnool on 31st December, 2023. A total of 71 people participated in the event.
The gathering commenced at Ravindra School Abbas Nagar at 9:30 a.m., with attendees traveling by bus to Lakshmi Jagannatha Gattu and returning after lunch. The event commenced with Bharat Mata Puja. Various discussions centered on the significance of Bhagavad Gita in daily life and the importance of family values. As an initial step towards strengthening family bonds, it was decided that all family members would dine together at home. It is also planned to organize similar gatherings in the future also to continue exploring these vital aspects.
