Gurupurnima Celebration at Vallioor

July 11, 2014 was celebrated as Guru Poornima to honour sage Veda Vyasa, who composed the Vedas and ensured the learning process and to honour all the Gurus for their transferring of knowledge to the whole of humanity.Mrs. Andal,  Principal of our school presided over the function . One of our teacher Mrs. Muthu Deiva Nayaki delivered the speech about Vyasa Maharishi and our Vedas. Besides, there were other programmes such as chanting of Guru slokas , songs on Vyasa  Maharishi. On that occasion students  were asked to get the blessings from their class teacher . Finally function was concluded by  Kendra prayer.
