Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Uttar Prant, Delhi Branch, in collaboration with the Vivekananda Study Circle, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, organized a speech competition on “Oneness of Existence, Swami Vivekananda and Universal Brotherhood” on 17 September 2026. The competition witnessed the participation of 55 students from 14 colleges of Delhi University, with a total attendance of 90 people.

Students from various colleges participated enthusiastically and presented their thoughts on Oneness of Existence, the message of Swami Vivekananda and the relevance of Universal Brotherhood in the present-day world. The competition provided a platform for the youth to study, reflect upon and express their understanding of Swamiji’s vision.

Following the competition, a special session was conducted by Dr. Nikhil Yadav Ji, Prant Sah Pramukh, Vivekananda Kendra Uttar Prant. He interacted with the students and shared insights on the teachings and vision of Swami Vivekananda, encouraging them to understand and apply these ideals in their lives.

The participants presented well-prepared speeches with enthusiasm. At the conclusion of the competition, the three best speakers were awarded cash prizes, while 10 students received consolation prizes.

The programme provided a meaningful opportunity for students from different colleges to come together, engage with the message of Swami Vivekananda and Universal Brotherhood, and reflect on its relevance to individual life and society.
