Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Chamundeshwari Devi Vibhag, Mysore Nagarsthan, organized Universal Brotherhood Day Competitions for school and college students on 5 September 2026. A total of 82 students from 7 schools and colleges participated in the competitions. The programme was also attended by 32 parents, 2 teachers and 5 Karyakartas.

The competitions included Vande Mataram Song, Quiz, Essay Writing, Swami Vivekananda costume competition, and Viveka Vani Competition, and Drawing. The activities provided an opportunity for students to learn about the life, message and ideals of Swami Vivekananda while expressing their knowledge and creativity through different competitions.

As a follow-up to the competitions, Universal Brotherhood Day celebrations are planned at 7 places, further carrying the message and ideals of Swami Vivekananda to students and the wider community.
