Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamilnadu Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development Programme, Kovilpatti Branch, in association with Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli and Dr. S. Pothiraju, Ravi Hospital, Sankarankovil organized a Free Eye Check-up Camp at Vanika Vaisiya Sangam High School, Sankarankovil on 25th of November, 2023.

In this event, Dr. Kavithaa RaviChandra Prakash, Ravi Hospital; Shri. Murugesan, the Headmaster of Vanika Vaisiya Sangam High School and Shri. Paramaguru ji, the Secretary of VK RDP Kovilpatti were present.

The eye check-ups were conducted by a dedicated medical team from Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli. The event facilitated comprehensive eye examinations for 65 outpatients. 14 patients diagnosed with cataract were referred for further treatment. Kendra well-wishers and Kendra karyakarthas from the locality also participated in the event.
