Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Chamundeshwari Vibhaga, Mysuru, organized a Kishori Vikas Shivir on 15 September 2026 at the Government School, Chatnahalli. The programme witnessed the participation of 25 students, along with the Headmistress and two teachers.

The programme commenced with a prayer by Su. Supriya, followed by Kendra Parichay and Geet by Su. Sowmya. Su. Gayathri Didi addressed the students on social protection of girls and remedial measures, as well as the health of Kishoris and various aspects of their growth and development.

Su. Supriya conducted sessions on Social Media and Beauty, creating awareness about their influence on young minds. Su. Sowmya spoke on Shreyas and Preyas, helping the students understand the importance of choosing what is beneficial and meaningful in life. An inspiring song focusing on the development of Ojas was also presented by Su. Sowmya and Su. Supriya.

The Shivir included Mudras, games and interactive activities, making the sessions engaging and participatory. The programme aimed to create awareness among the Kishoris and encourage their healthy, confident and value-based development.
