Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation (VKVVF), Kodungallur (Keralam Prant), celebrated the 80th Independence Day along with an Amrit Parivar Milan on 15 August 2026 at the VKVVF Campus, Kodungallur. The programme witnessed the participation of 42 people, including children of Sandeepani Shishuvihar, teachers, parents and Swadhyaya participants.

Mananeeya Dr. Lakshmi Kumari Didi, Director of VKVVF, hoisted the National Flag and shared an inspiring message with the children on the occasion of Independence Day.

As part of the Amrit Parivar Milan, Aadaraneeya Shri Sudhakar Ji, Senior Jeevanvrati karyakarta of Vivekananad Kendra, conducted a session on Amrit Parivar for the parents and children. Anita Teacher led a Geet and Shloka, while Bindu Chechi engaged the participants through a Khel and Katha.

The programme brought children and families together in a spirit of patriotism, family bonding and shared values, making the Independence Day celebration meaningful and engaging.
