Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Kallubalu (Karnataka Prant), celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 28 August 2026 with devotion and enthusiasm. The programme witnessed a total participation of 403.

Shri Pillappa ji, Grama Panchayat Sadasya, and Shri Nagesh Ji, Prakalpa Sadasya, graced the occasion as Chief Guests.

The programme commenced with Aarti to Lord Krishna performed by the teachers, followed by a Krishna Bhajan rendered by the students. Smt. Archana Didi explained the significance of Raksha Bandhan and its message of strengthening bonds of love and responsibility.

Addressing the students, Shri Pillappa Ji highlighted the values of love, protection, unity and mutual respect associated with the festival.

As part of the celebration, the students tied Rakhis to one another, expressing the spirit of affection and togetherness. The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets.
