As part of the Samartha Bharat Parva celebrations, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Arunachal Prant, Manipur Vibhag organized a Youth Meet and Hiking Adventure for the youth.
The event took place at Thangmeiband Cheirao Ching, Imphal, from 5:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on 25th December 2024. The Manipur Vibhag Pramukh and Vibhag Samiti members graced the occasion. A total of 46 Karyakartas participated in the event.
Swami Vivekananda, after his wandering across Bharat, reached Kanyakumari and began a three-day meditation on Bharat, seated on the mid-sea rock, on 25th December 1892. To commemorate this historic moment, Vivekananda Kendra celebrates the period from 25th December to 12th January, culminating in Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, as Samartha Bharat Parva, celebrating the strength and greatness of Bharat.
During Samartha Bharat Parva, Vivekananda Kendra has undertaken the task of inspiring the youth for nation-building work. By strengthening the youth, we can strengthen the nation. This Youth Meet program provides an opportunity for Karyakartas to meet others from various places within Imphal.
The program began with reporting at 5:45 a.m., followed by the introduction of Karyakartas. It included value games, session on the importance of the day, and meditation. Shri H. Siddhartha ji, Vibhag Vyavstha Pramukh, delivered a talk on the significance of the day, emphasizing Bharat’s potential and the inspiring youth icons of Bharat, such as Swami Vivekananda.
The event served as a meaningful opportunity to inspire the youth and engage them in nation-building activities.
