Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Telugu Prant, VK-Kaushalam organized a one-day Tranquil Retreat at VK-Kaushalam (Human Excellence Training Center), Bhagyanagar, on Sunday, 16th March 2025. The retreat, designed for self-development, cultural discussions, and spiritual practices, saw the participation of 29 people aged 20 and above.

The program commenced at 7 a.m. with a session on Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditation under the guidance of Shri Surendra Ji. This was followed by a visit to the Goshala and the Bhagwan Shri Krishna Temple at Kaushalam, allowing participants to connect with nature and reflect on the spiritual essence of the retreat.

After breakfast, the formal proceedings began with the offering of flowers at the feet of Swami Vivekananda and Omkar by Shri Ravi Sharma Ji, All India Yog Pramukh; Shri Ramakrishna Ji, Prant Vyavastha Pramukh; and Shri Srinivaslu Pudi Ji, Bhagyanagar Vibhag Pramukh. A soulful song on Sadhana, led by Shri Arun Gaud Ji, was sung collectively, setting a contemplative tone for the day.

The retreat featured inspiring talks and interactive activities. Shri Mukesh Ji, Jeevan-vrati Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra provided valuable insights into the legacy of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the mission of Vivekananda Kendra. This was followed by a thought-provoking session by Shri Ravi Ji on the purpose of life, where he elaborated on ways to cultivate happiness through simple yet profound examples. A Q&A session allowed participants to engage further with the topic.

Adding a dynamic element to the retreat, engaging games under "Jio Bachpan," conducted by Smt. Surabhi Bhatnagar and Shri Mukesh Ji, infused joy and enthusiasm among participants.

Post-lunch, discussions deepened the exploration of cultural and spiritual themes. Shri Arun Gaud Ji led a thought-provoking discussion on ‘Sanatan Sanskriti,’ while Smt. Surabhi Bhatnagar, Bhagyanagar Vibhag Yuva Pramukh introduced the concept of Amrit Parivar. Participants worked in groups to explore the application of the six Bh (6 भ) principles within their families. In his second session, Shri Ravi Ji spoke on Karma Yoga, inspiring attendees to integrate its principles into their daily lives.

The retreat concluded with Bhajan Sandhya, followed by participants sharing their reflections on the day's experiences. A vote of thanks was extended, acknowledging the contributions of all those who made the event a success. The program was seamlessly coordinated by Shri Arun Gaud Ji, Coordinator, Kaushalam & Saha Vibhag Pramukh, Bhagyanagar.
