On 22nd March 2025, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Assam Prant, inaugurated the Sita Ram Kanoi Conference Hall at Anandalaya Bhawan, Dibrugarh. The ceremony was graced by Mananeeya Shri A. Balakrishnan Ji, All-India President of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari.
The event was attended by esteemed members of the Jyoti Lalita Kanoi Foundation, including trustees CA Shri Jyoti Kanoi Ji and Smt. Lalita Kanoi, alongside prominent members from the community.
The inauguration began with the Deepa Prajwalan (lighting of the ceremonial lamp) by Mananeeya Shri A. Balakrishnan Ji before the murti of Swami Vivekananda, symbolizing enlightenment and selfless service. He then officially inaugurated the Conference Hall, dedicated to the memory of Shri Sita Ram Kanoi. During the ceremony, CA Shri Jyoti Kanoi Ji and Smt. Lalita Kanoi warmly welcomed Shri Balakrishnan Ji, expressing their gratitude for his presence.
In his address, Mananeeya Shri A. Balakrishnan Ji highlighted the unwavering dedication of CA Shri Jyoti Kanoi Ji to Vivekananda Kendra. He acknowledged his generous contribution in establishing the Conference Hall in honor of his father, Sita Ram Kanoi. The Anandalaya management team also took the occasion to felicitate the trustees of the Jyoti Lalita Kanoi Foundation for their continued commitment to social welfare.
Sharing his thoughts, CA Shri Jyoti Kanoi Ji emphasized the role of Vivekananda Kendra in nation-building, particularly through its efforts in education and cultural awareness in remote rural areas. He expressed his deep gratitude for being associated with the organization and spoke about the importance of giving back to society in memory of his father.
Smt. Lalita Kanoi also shared her joy, expressing the profound significance of this occasion for their family. She acknowledged the support of her sons and daughters-in-law in their philanthropic endeavors, reaffirming their commitment to service.
